Zombie boy, "R" doesn't remember how he died or where he was from, let alone his own name. He cannot bleed, dream, eat anything other than humans and he certainly cannot feel. Julie's father is in charge of blowing zombies like "R" to bits, so what happens when the twist of Romeo and Juliet's, R and Julie fall in love; rebelling against all odds?

Outstanding, and extremely entertaining. Although i am not a zombie/vampire kind of girl, i completely enjoyed this movie and loved the plot. "Having the best conversation in the world without saying anything" totally applies to some scenes in the movie. The director did a great job, making the story clear and fun, once again introducing us to a new kind of species; zombies. The whole idea of love being the cure should have seemed cliche, but it didn't. The roles given to the stars were accurate, needless to say, this movie was a success. 

When zombie boy (Nicholas) tries to connect with a human, he finds himself experiencing a new emotion; which we can all safely say, was love. The ending was predictable, as any other love story would be, but the movie was worth the watch. Cheesy, quirky, pleasant and horror themed at the same time, this movie was a combination of so many genres but kept me captivated the whole time. The cute love between Julie and zombie boy was so comfortable, they instantly clicked as an icon in my head. 

The Bonies did give me a little jump at times as the camera work as fantastic; the scare was nice. Many points in the movie gave me goosebumps, as i am an utter sucker for "working together" to stop the bad guy(s). Bravo, the visual effects was a great success, the zombies looked so unpleasant, which is exactly the target here. Couldn't have scripted it better myself. 

Was the movie SO great that you couldn't find one fault?

To answer that, no. It did disappoint me at one point because the character Julie (Teresa) very much reminded me of Twilight's Bella Swan and her selfishness towards her father's orders. Although, apart from a quality trait, zombie boy did seem dull and dead like Edward. If i'm being honest, to a certain point i felt 'maybe they're making fun of Twilight' but i cannot confirm that at all. I'm still not a zombie fan, can't stand them actually, but this movie was great and i fell for every cliche they were selling.

   

Yes, you can see which side i'm on. You should certainly go watch the movie, or rent it right about now. It'll give you a good laugh, i'm sure. Good old classic love story about zombies and humans. We humans can make a love story out of anything, can't we? It's really fascinating...
